All of our BoxWise programmes in the UK are run by accredited England Boxing coaches and, where possible, include a free hot meal for all participants. Our leading 10-week programmes run across the country in boxing clubs, community centres and schools.
Some of the ways our participants are referred to us include:
Social workers | Police Youth Offending Teams | Local Authorities | Mental Health Support Workers | Teachers | Parents
OUR CORE PROGRAMME
Our core programme focuses on building the skills young people need to navigate the world they live in today, from maximising their success at school to engaging with and being part of their local communities.
Adapted 1-week versions of the BoxWise Under 18’s programme run throughout the school holidays as ‘BoxWise Lite’, with a 5-week course running as part of the PE curriculum at several schools across London and Scotland.
BOXWISE LITE
BoxWise Lite is a five-day holiday programme that combines non-contact boxing-based fitness with personal development in a safe, supportive environment. Designed to keep young people active, engaged and connected during school breaks, it helps build confidence, resilience, wellbeing, teamwork and emotional control while encouraging positive relationships and personal achievement.
As part of our mission to support the most disadvantaged and vulnerable young people across the country, BoxWise runs courses in partnership with Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity. BoxWise sessions run at Centrepoint hubs in London, Manchester and Bradford.
ADAPTIVE DISABILITY
BoxWise is proud to run adapted boxing courses for young people with disabilities at Pembroke and Pembroke Dock Amateur Boxing Club, Billy's Gym in Maestag, Star College and the Mary Hare School.
Adaptive boxing can be enjoyed at a variety of levels and adjusted to suit individual needs and fitness abilities. The programmes are delivered by expert coaches in safe, inclusive and accessible environments where everyone feels able to participate.
As we move into 2026, BoxWise remains rooted in the belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to build confidence, discipline, and a sense of purpose. What began as a simple idea using boxing as a tool for positive change has grown into a nationally delivered programme supporting young people in some of the UK’s most challenging communities.
Over the coming year, our focus is clear: deepening impact, strengthening quality, and ensuring sustainability as we continue to scale. We will invest further in our coaches, our curriculum, and our partnerships, while expanding inclusive provision for young people with additional needs and those at risk of exclusion.
Above all, we remain committed to doing this work with integrity, evidence, and ambition, measuring what matters, listening to the young people we serve, and continually raising the standard of what sport-led youth development can achieve.
